This atmospheric landscape painting is the second in my pond series. I have a pond in my yard and the egret will come and hang out with the wild ducks. I was trying to capture the shadows and light coming into the pond creating a mood that was serene and peaceful.

This atmospheric landscape painting is the first in my pond series. I have a pond in my yard and this old boat sits on the edge. I was trying to capture the movement in the air on a sunny day and on this particular day there was lots of movement. I made the boat the focal point of the painting.
