I met this woman in a small village in China near The Great Wall. She was sitting on the walkway outside her home & gestured to me to sit & visit with her. She offered me her cushion, making herself much less comfortable. Here, she is a figure of reverence, possessing the strength & righteousness.

This painting represents a heartfelt greeting I had in China with two young women.

Trees and humans are interconnected on a deep level. The definition of Symbiosis is an interaction between two different organisms living in close physical association, typically to the advantage of both. One side of the relationship has skewed the balance dramatically. We must correct it.

Has anyone noticed that yes seems further away on the horizon than no? No is so much bigger and louder. Yes is much harder to find and so quiet. But, once it IS found, the gratification is profound. I create my images by drawing with paper. I keep my work graphic and simple.
