This is another piece in the post-9/11 large-scaled "Inner Dialogues" series which was exhibited publicly. Referencing Alchemy, the title in Jungian psychology is the symbolic element of fire, a purging and purifying element, burning through afflictions, loss and grief.

The Social Experiment (Body Count) examines what adolescents are exposed to when watching certain people online. The work references Norman Rockwell's illustrations from the 1950s-60s but updates the message to current issues.

A soul portrait inspired by the poem Mater, honoring maternal labor and the Deep South. Rich tones evoke soil, heat, and growth, with layered forms symbolizing strength, spirit, and the deep connection between land, body, and legacy.

Guanyin is a large sculptural head depicting the bodhisattva with a crown. In place of the traditional Buddha, the crown features the artist's teacher, honoring personal lineage, compassion, and the passing of wisdom across generations.

Crone/Crow concept: One of the symbolic meaning of the Crow is change/transformation, clear sightedness and wisdom. This also feels like the stage of life I'm in. I made the background twilight, as I feel I'm in the twilight of my life

This piece was created while exploring the connections between mushrooms and Greek mythology. Portrayed is Princess Amalthea and the "Trumpet of Plenty" mushrooms. This connection symbolizes the loss of one of Amaltheas horns to baby Zeus, referred to as "Horn of plenty".

This work is a visual expression of the icon Josephine Baker. Josephine learned to fly a plane at a time when people of color could not.

Josephine was known as the Universal Mother because she adopted 12 children of various races. This image depicts a colorful Hong Kong sky paying homage to the first adopted child who was of Asian decent.

While wondering around the town of Narsaq in southern Greenland I saw these blue icebergs floating in a peaceful inlet. A hill in the back provided the darkness to the water that allowed the ice reflections to stand out. This is printed on Fuji crystal paper and floated in acrylic.

This piece has changed from allowing others to write their thoughts on it to adding and subtracting based on information in the news. It is a sad commentary on women's rights or lack thereof.

This lush portrait explores concepts of female agency and beauty through the use of color, particularly purple as it symbolizes Black female empowerment. The stance suggests a desire for privacy.

I paint women who are strong, confident, intelligent and grounded. The Redhead is also sexy and sassy. Like her, the colors and patterns are bold and assured, the lines sinuous and graceful. She's looking at you and she knows who you are.

In India, a woman was gang-raped on a public bus, where she had every right to expect safety of her person. I created this piece to show everywoman's hope to be at peace in her environment.

A cancer diagnosis can feel like being dropped into a silent, unfamiliar world. Even with loved ones nearby, fear and uncertainty create distance. Ordinary conversations feel foreign, while isolation grows from the weight of carrying questions and worries only you can truly feel.

The artwork depicts a moment of intimate connection between two figures. The expressions on their faces suggest a deep emotional exchange, perhaps conveying themes of tenderness, vulnerable pose, sits beside a man who appears to be offering comfort or support.
